The Japanese statues on display were mostly made of wood, with metal ornaments. Some even fit together at the joints surprisingly similarly to old action figures. I liked how the paint(?) would sometimes peel off like wood bark.

WTF? When did become better Star Trek than Star Trek? Skip Discovery. The show no longer draws a warm bath of Next Generation sentimentality just as an excuse to drop poop jokes. It’s become a surprisingly good sci-fi trifecta of ideas, stories and characters. LL&P!

Their proportions are pretty much on point surprisingly. War being a little wider than normal maybe. Plus all that armor makes him look like a double door gate.
