Celtic mythology features numerous magical cauldrons—Brân’s cauldron restores life, Cerridwen’s grants poetic inspiration & the Cauldron of Plenty magically replenishes with food or drink. All are likely precursors of the Holy Grail. #FolkloreThursday

I've been waiting for this #FolkloreThursday... In keeping with today's theme, I bring the Slavic god Yarilo (sort of my namesake), whose name in Ukrainian means Spring. He's also the deity of fire, fertility and the ferocity of life, wears flower crowns and rides a white horse.
UNICORN LOVE The #unicorn was white with hooves of silver & graceful horn of pearl. His eyes circled by this sad and beautiful darkness were so sorrowful, gentle, & nobly tragic that they KILLED ALL OTHER EMOTIONS EXCEPT LOVE
