Here's my take on the #artstylebend challenge, lined vs sketch! Banned items include: thick + black lineart, soft shading, dark colors, typical eye shape, small hands, small noses, watercolor brushes, aand blur shading. So I went with full chibi inspiration! This was super fun!

I am inclined to believe these images might have started out as early concepts Barlowe had created for the Expedition & Darwin IV, but would later abandon for unknown reasons. It might be that he planned to re-use them for a future project exploring the new planet of "Belon"
