Spectral started out much duller in color, to be more ghost like. Not far into her lifespan (can’t find the specific art) an artist drew her much brighter and more spring colored. I decided to keep it and leave the dull colors to the ghost half.

232. I experimented a bit for today's session by flipping my colors around. It really messed me up for the 10 minute because I was doing the shadow forms with a bright color, so I ended up using a third color. It was nice experimentation.

Oh for sure! It's like trying to use the old BE "black" hair color with the new skin tones; we NEED real black hair on VE's. Like we can argue lore for every other hair color, but black? on VE's? When NPC's use it?

like many artists i have too many different ones so i tried to stay cohesive for the references.
i will give some easy tips though- black line lineart, often no "soft/gradient" shade only one hard color, "loose" hair, 1:8 body ratio with long limbs and legs 😅also ~lips~
