Blending colours in pixelart is VERY hard.
With only 22500 pixels, things are going to look rigid and rough... Probably why so many pixel artists use flats.

The example on the top left is quite old, but this collection of images shows how I blend.

Colors came out okay so far. These are just the flats with some injury detail added on. Made Jade's hair more auburn or at least more red in color so its gonna be brown in shade.
