if there's anyone who can help me with composition perhaps but. I just want this scene to be physically full but like emotionally empty if that makes sense. like. I want the background to be bright and vibrant and the area around the character to be dull/dark

A demon/Guild Wars-esque thing I guess? Also wanted to show the 'shape language' I used, shape arrangement and composition are a HUGE "to-do" list item for me, I think if I can nail down basic shapes and rhythms first, my work will improve much quicker.

DAY 22 - GOOD / EVIL

Eyrite's creation should have been celebrated as the marvel that it was: an amazing advancement in Ahnurthian alchemy, knowing the composition of a soul.

Instead, he's been tethered to one dragon's selfishness.

[Yes I still have some of these to share!]

Œuvre 352/366
Norman Parker
La surréalisme fascine tant les possibilités sont infinies. Au sein ce chaos surréaliste, il réside un sens de la composition incroyable apportant de l'ordre dans le désordre.

My 'art director' fail for the day.... my head got so busy that I accidentally had my artist draw a character in the same pose as a previous image that he did for me earlier in the year :P (he even gave me a group of composition thumbnails to pick from!).

Plus, we get a new addition to Taku Sugimoto's lovely feline drawings (who came first, the tipsy cat or the composition's concept?):

If you are wondering about the art Hitoshi Ariga tweeted for the 33rd Anniversary... is not new art. He is taking parts from the Megamix/Gigamix last reprint and doing a new composition with them. It Is possible he drew something new but is mostly old.

⚔️Curious about Composition and Narrative? ⚔️

I put together a little thread analyzing my ink piece "Vanquish."

I hope this gives you some ideas for your own work!
