The aim was to create something with a simple silhouette. I pitched a ball with legs. The 3 main influences were the flu virus, a lamprey mouth and a dog’s squeaky ball toy…you can see the ball texture in a later concept. These are the refs I used from back then ⬇️

Idk why people and shows like Game of Thrones and the Netflix Witcher keep getting this wrong but dragons have 4 legs plus wings and wyverns have 2 legs with wings that have a claw on the end. Sometimes 1 claw, sometimes 2 claws on the end of the wing.
