Snapseed (app) is free and has nice vintage filters that can add some scratches and light leaks and really do look old.

Did this w the “retrolux” tool, frames, expand (w white), cropping to Polaroid size, and frames again.

If you need real ones, maybe Polaroid OneStep or Now.

i usually use 3 base colors and roughly block them out before going in with a smudge tool to make it fluffy and add some highlights when i feel it looks sufficient
