There’s a specific rule in Dutch for perfect tense and simple past. If the stem word ends with a consonant from ‘soft ketchup’, the word will end with "-te". If not, it’s "-de". Thanks for helping me remember my Dutch lessons.

That’s a great lesson! One of my favorite series I’ve done was a Halloween challenge where I changed my cafe sketch subjects into witches. It was so freeing and fun to extrapolate on what they were wearing and exaggerate on the fly.
