Once upon a time, someone told me to be a scientist and I sold my soul a little to live out their dream. Now I am on a mission to gain the courage to be the #artist that I have always wanted to be. I am currently writing something about queer cryptid love in the 60s'

Love is hard when you're #bisexual in the '60s and you've fallen for a #genderfluid, man-eating, #demon.
Happy #PrideMonth. I finally gained the courage to post #art from a #webcomic I've been working on with a friend. More to come 💕
There was also a wonderful revival of hippie, mod & 60s-70s fashion illustration

What great timing, it's #Kaijune! This is my entry into a contest by @tyrantisterror to celebrate the release of their new book (a sequel), set in a universe of 50-60s throwback monster films under a modern lens. Regardless, I think this is my strongest kaiju concept yet.
@Clayagaplus @potatofarmgirl This isn’t about me, but just about saying that yes, creativity continues and silliness too, into your 60s. That’s as far as I’ve aged so far, but the future’s so bright, etc :) (Challenge in this marker sketch was to combine several reference photos for fun)
When I went camping, they had these ice cream machines from the '60s or '80s and it was delicious! :P
The Beach Boys transformation between the 60s and the 70s according to Spanish illustrator @Alexis_Nolla
Starcrash, John Barry. 1978
Released a year after Star Wars but looking like a forgotten classic from the late 60s, Starcrash is an odd and derivative film but a very enjoyable one. The score by Barry is familiar fare and possible the best Bond music that never was. Recommended.
Saito Rei, the actress that plays Touga in the 1997 musical, was affiliated with Tokyo Kid Brothers, a theatre troupe founded by Yutaka Higashi, a co-founder alongside Shūji Terayama of the Tenjo Sajiki theatre troupe active in the 60s/70s. This troupe worked with J. A. Seazer. https://t.co/UrVn6CEJcn
