My first real attempt at gouache. 💀 But after this practice, I feel a lot more comfortable. I still am terrible with layering, and color matching went so wrong, but determined to get better. My muse is @eclecticmel and this is my absolute favorite look by her, go check her out!
For anyone who (like me) has struggled to figure out how to get a non-streaky opacity build up in Procreate, these settings help out a ton! And then adjust the opacity in the side toggle. Really helpful for layering up translucent colour like PS or CSP

I really enjoy layering foliage (surprise, surprise) so having a wall of green leafy rocks was a must in this painting.
