Finally got some drawing done. Decided to play around with a symmetry tool while figuring out what I want an oc of mine to look like. Her name is Nazaru, and she’s the younger sister to Kourronath who is also one of my ocs. They’re half-orc/half-elf in bloodline.
It's really cool that you can sculpt your #greasepencil drawings in #blender3d. I can see this being used in really creative ways and also to fix wonky stuff without redrawing... maybe even to do a quick in between without drawing a single line.

My 12-year old girl taught herself to draw on a tablet through lockdowns, studying/practising hours a day alongside young women illustrators online. Said to me today: 'There'll never be a better time to give this everything: You had to wait so long to become a writer.' My heart.
This is, literally, the image that made me hop onto both the Azu boat in general...and this freaking ship.
If I hadn't spotted Vol 2 of the ADV translation of the manga, I wouldn't have made that leap. I may not have decided to even post my art online.

so what I want with an updated maeja design is better defined hair shapes, the hair before was cute but it had a non-existent hairline. I wanted to make the hair more volumetric instead of flat, so imagine her hair spikes as giant cones instead of slices of cardboard
