I’ve been spending the last few years working hard to work out a strong painting process. I’m still ironing out the kinks w it.
I also rarely share process videos for these paintings because I’m always a tiny bit embarrassed by the reference photos. Lol. I shoot them myself.
One of the most noticeable things at first glance when you look at her is her best friend and mighty knight, as she calls him, Hyou-kun, an iguana. Hyou-kun accompanies her pretty much everywhere, and it's clear she's very attached to him, taking him to lessons and photoshoots.
Don't worry though, it's definitely cringey at times

On this day in 1960, shooting ended on the Hammer film Sword of Sherwood Forest at Bray - not Bray Studios in England, but Ardmore Studios in Bray, County Wicklow, Ireland, where Hammer shot two of their adventures. The second was The Viking Queen (1967).
