11. Not my fav coloring method, but coloring from a greyscale pic is very simple!
Select the area u want to color & go to your color balance tab/tool to tune ur colors, u can always go & select specific areas (like I did with the lips) to add more color variety or saturation~

@andrewpprice One way to go about it, break things down into local values, then do a shadow pass on multiply, and then light. After you have established some kind of base with this method it’s easier to push the lighting after.

Little modelling tip. If you're ever having trouble figuring out the topology of a certain thing you're making, try drawing the topology over a photo reference.
It's not a perfect method, but it's better than banging your head against the wall with the model.

btw for those who don't use blender: the outline method I was using before was a post-processing effect that took like 20-50 seconds per frame, and only showed up after rendering.
Finally drew something on my tablet I felt was worth finishing! I wanted to redraw an old joke I made with Robyn that is still my preferred method of referring to coffee!
Tried out some a different shading method. Gotta say I'm pleased with how it turned out. 🐱🦘
