I think the Amiga commercial market was dying, so the product got pushed out the door before it was ready. 😐 There were no animated graphics on the battlescape, nor night-time missions (though there were still flares), and it became *real* slow on big maps, even with an 040 CPU.

Back to the 1960's, when anything seemed possible!
The Bell X-22 used four turbojets to provide thrust and also to drive four 'ducted-fan' thrust modules. It was very successful as a 'proof of concept' VTOL craft using these fans, but a commercial project is still to be built!

A couple more "Boris Karloffs" with & without the commercial dress. It was a neat idea to reprint the covers on the back with no titles or logos -- really lets the art speak for itself. And in many cases (as with 2nd example) it's easier to figure out what's going on.
