Found some of my pencil sketches of #Macross fanart, though the mechanism of transformation still based off some currently existing VFs like VF-25, Sv-51 and VF-19
Maybe I'll consider reworking them? Put them on the to-do list first XD
These are the original finals before Camazotz's design was finalized. Notice the fighter jets are F-22 Raptor instead of the F-35 Lightning II in the final. I redid the entire squadron after watching G:KOTM 🤣 (4/4)

The F-22 has a gold-coloured canopy because there is a radar-reflecting layer of Gold between Indium Tin Oxide sheets.
The F-35 has a different pink colour because it might use the cheaper and more corrosion-resistant Aluminium-Doped Zinc.
