One of my favourite Cornish folktales is The Mermaid of Zennor. A mermaid falls in love with Mathey Trewella, the best singer of the Parish. One day he decides to live with her, they disappear and are never seen again on dry land. 🌊🧜‍♀️

Kelpies are shapeshifting water spirits who lure people into lakes & drown them. The Scottish folktale "The Kelpie & the Ten Children" is a cautionary tale of children lured onto a beautiful horse's back, only for the horse to jump into a lake.

I don't think you guys are familiar with 'Uturi, the baby with super powers' for V. For your information, Uturi is a Korean traditional folktale, kind of a hero story. In Joseon dynasty, one baby 👶🏻 with superpowers having wings was born. And he was fighting against corruption..

Aldar Kose is a famous figure in Kazakhstan folktale, depicted as a sly, clever, mischievous, but kind man. In various stories, he uses his cleverness to outwit greedy and evil Khans, in order to assist the weak and poor people who are made to suffer by them.
