So I love 's idea of a bug/poison black plague Pokémon and designed it. Yersick, a rat Pokémon that is possessed by a flea Pokémon to go spread disease. I named it Yersick from sick and Yersinia(plague bacteria) And it sounds like a heavy accented Brit saying you're sick

Images from Dutch comic, STORM. My grandparents had crates of old comics mags, which they bought for me at the local flea market. Storm fascinated me: it was dark, kind of morbid, but visually arresting and wildly imaginative. Its heydays were from the late 70s to the late 80s.
