Decided to formally learn to render. I highly recommend Sam Nielson's fundamentals of lighting course on Schoolism.

I mostly learned color/lighting through observation and guessing, and it's starting to catch up with me. I decided to actually just learn the fundamentals.

A big reason I've managed to improve a lot this year is my studying, both posted and unposted. It's taken some time to unlearn bad habits formed from drawing without acknowledging fundamentals and forms, but I'm getting there!
