Here's another example. The snow was just painted directly on top of the base after shifting the colors to be cooler.

Adjustment layers are your best friend. Play around with color balance, selective color, gradient maps, color lookup, etc and learn how they all work!

Updated Ultimate Samus!

Looks much better than the last time i showed her. Reacts better to lighting, hard edges thanks to the normal maps, more detail thanks the normal maps, and a lot more.
