I got inspired to become an artist when I started watching anime and reading manga, and I’m working towards becoming an illustrator and hopefully a future mangaka. I love stylized and realistic art. I like drawing my oc but sometimes I’ll do fan art or redraws.

You’re right and you should say it! I see everyone in the replies going “weh! It’s stylization!” … OKAY!? … stylization doesn’t JUST mean long & skinny. Frank Botero was a famous painter who stylized his figures, everyone he painted was fat. That is ALSO stylization.

Exactly, I’ve seen a few artists do challenges and “redesign” art, like a “remaking gen 1” challenge on insta and it’s never stated that they’re fixing it making it better, along with heavily stylized takes. And there’s designs id love to remake, but I’m never looking to “fix” it
