So anyway, I was talking about the Kinnikuman franchise. After finishing the sequel Nisei/Ultimate Muscle, in 2011 creators Yudetamago began a revival of the original series, set in the 1980s and picking up right where the last volume of OG Kinnikuman left off.

Suddenly, episode 8x10 just got worse. A waste of time just to set up that spinoff. Would Oliver have had a better future if it hadn’t been for that idea? We’ll never know. But I am certain that they would’ve cared more about ending our show better. Cohesive. Closure for all.

I would genuinely punch someone repeatedly to make this real, there's so much potential to be had in here especially after what they did with Edgeworth's spinoff. This would also give them an opportunity to expand more on Athena's character, she was kinda overshadowed after all.

We use outlines to make up for the lack of depth in an illustration. I omitted them on the fairy, because she is a light source.

It's a trade-off. No outlines means planning values and hues to create contrast everywhere you need edges.

Honestly, after everything that hs been happening in the story, I could use a second season of the spinoff.

I finally figured out what that move Shibuko was doing is supposed to do. This is easily the coolest thing I’ve ever drawn and I’m very glad I was able to pull it off. Powering up her punches up isn’t the only thing it does though, but I’ll elaborate on that later.
