I based the shape of this rat on a piece of news I read about big-eared short-tailed hybrid rats that appeared in Arizona apparently.
Based the colors and style on Mr. Amano's work.
It was definitely fun and satisfying to paint like this.

I’m non-binary/gender fluid so any style is fine for me! When masc though I prefer classy styles, fem can be classy or cute~

My character also shapeshifts depending on presentation so if you did a masc outfit you don’t need to account for booba

If I can add a follow-up, I also really appreciate how I've been more lenient with myself in recent months.
I used to overthink every single line and shape and tried to make everything perfect and 100% anatomically accurate but I'm starting to have fun with loose sketches again
