A quick sketch of my favorite #nealadams character, #Deadman. My Dad introduced him and Neal’s art to me. I loved how Neal would have Deadman standing as if on glass in the air. So many cool things.
I was asked if I could edit #InvaderZim into this meme, and saw it as a good practice in understanding my art program and shading.

@angelicfield First of all, most of my art depicts him sitting, or laying, portraits and half bodies, The only times I draw full bodies of him are his machine Herald era, instead of a crutch, he has a staff. Secondly, here you can see him standing perfectly without his cane.
I think what makes Shadow the Hedgehog such an entertaining character is that the games give him a really tragic backstory, and everything about his characterization leans into, ahem, edge, but he's a tiny 3ft tall hedgehog that looks ridiculous standing next to people.
