A Witch A Day 2020 - Day 15: Game!

For this I drew Stella from the game “Bubble Witch”! In this game you aim bubbles at ceiling of other bubbles to pop matching colors.

1st/4th are true/eyedroppable colors. fire mane can be any color including rainbow, but has flame like texture. tail can be doglike (docked), or grow into a lion tail (3rd image) with or without flame. ears are cropped like a pitbull.

Some of my favorite old works are from a whole challenge based on making art with palettes limited to 4-6 colors. It taught me a lot of techniques and introduced me to more dynamic ways of using color overall. ❤

Artist tip: sometimes using punchy saturated colors is not it chief (Bakugo and May). It’s ok to go desaturated and develop and control your colors. The more controlled your colors are, the more likely they will work together to formulate an idea
