Today's quick warmup ditty is of the first character I created for it. Still looks the same as it did almost 30 yrs ago.
Dont know if Im a good enough comic artist, but damn i'd love to do something w those tales...😎

Start to finish. I learned how to sketch in anime, but I learned how to paint in the western style.

So everything used to start anime and end up realistic in a weird train-wreck-in-the-middle sort of way.

I'm slowly learning to love the simpler shapes again.
