I am having a hard time liking my coloring for comics. I have two different styles, base flats then shading (1), or I flat with a shaded color, then add lighter color on top (2) Theu both take me about the same time.

Some color process shots on 's new Sonic cover. I've got the final raw first, then a look at my test palette and flats.

I decided that the duality between Sonic's blue and Eggman's red would work better for the final composition rather than the bright yellow/green.
