Played D&D over the weekend, one of the players threw a row boat at a gelatinous cube. They also threw a iron door and a barbarian. My players are creative.

The effect uses four surfaces in total: normal, monochrome depthmap, and a 2-pass blur. The final image is mixed together using the depthmap brightness (more white means more percent of the blurred surface).

Boichi can't draw women and neither can I. I know she has swords, but it wouldn't have fit especially with her crazy hair. I love Kohaku and her weirdly spaced eyes. I tried using the noise effect for a stainless steel look.

Had a lot of fun with this one. I took the time to dive deeper into rendering with all its fancy techniques. I experimented a lot with different light setups, subsurface scattering and textures. I am happy with the result. 😊
