My new Doom 2 map, "Wrath Like Fire", made in 6 hours on-stream for 's latest speedmapping venture, which had us all emulating 's "Perfect Hatred", E4M2 of Ultimate Doom, right down to the build time limit. This was a ton of fun to make!

Mmm, considering how the hair mapping doesn't follow the grain of the texture in some styles, the way the DID hair effects are done could be perfect to give VE hastyles that void fade: would work on every style, and also moving stars!

I love this little mistake because it feels like the kind of mapping error that could genuinely happen in real life. So in my own map of Ooo I've paid tribute to the island's cartographic history. Hopefully I've made one of Ooo's many small islands a little more interesting.

I made this sprite by using the original Mion Sonozaki sprite. I traced the face and arms and outline of the eyes. The rest was drawn myself in a similar style still using the Mion sprite as a mapping reference underneath to keep the same feel and size of the original characters.
