Not so sure about the tileset anymore, might just use it for our game instead of releasing it as a free tileset. Mind you, I would've been working on art for our game AND a free tileset so I'm definitely re-thinking. Anyway, here's some dialogue sprites.

One subtle recent QoL change to were some clean pixels for the larger rat sprites. Previously we were upscaling the smallest rat, which resulted in some upsettingly stretched pixels.

Here is a cool Rat Rider with the new Rat Matron.

It was often the way it was. No use of sprites. No smooth scrolling. 🤔 I think, if they had access to the original Z80 code, maybe it was easier just to convert the game exactly as-is. More changes is more opportunity for bugs and all that hassle. Maybe deadlines were a factor?
