Key is just to make it visible enough the reader doesn't have to search for it.

When i created this cover I just wanted something simple to fit the beginning of my comic story but when my story get darker I'm planning to make a complex cover to describe it the struggling of my characters...

I like to do cover art for each chapter of the story. I've already got the chapter written - at least in first draft - so usually I'm trying to include some of the contents in the cover image as a sort of preview or reference to the contents.
