4. Then go add details and define where you want the hard shadows to be. If more lights come to play in the lighting, adjust the light/shadow ratio.
Tip: I like to use the selection tool and gradients to do my shading.

Everybody you meet and become friends with will not always end up where you are going. Some people may only be with you part way and that's okay. Think of the boosters to a rocket, after a certain point they fall away while the rocket keeps going right~?
@ScottFalco If I recall right, I paid $690 (nice), including tip, for 9 different emotions, which had an open-mouth, close-mouth, and blink states for each.
