I made a variety of scribble shapes in marker, cleaned up the image in photoshop, traced it in illustrator, and then manipulated the shape & thickness to my liking 🌸

The difference is shell detail is interesting: There was an attempt at making the spikes cast shadows on the surface in PiT. This is probably why the shell lines are subtle; to make the shadows stand out. BIS remove the shadows and made the shell lines thicker.

I have a little difficulty on painting the skin because I'm not used to blending it (the paint is quite thick) but it eventually blend well after wetting my brush!
