Scan 2: Sitting Buddha
Good, but not great. Notice the lumps on his skin & deformity on the face. The lumps are from his skin being a shiny gold. Might have to spray paint the whole thing a matte gray for a better scan. This was planned to be used for my Dead Pool arena redesign.
Iwamoto is a more recent, modern designer and it shows. He's done some great ones though!

Personally I am a fan of the twin-boom kind of look, perhaps because it reminds me of anime spaceship design. The catamaran/twin-boom look is common in mecha anime, thanks to Gundam's influence. White Base from the og Gundam really set the trend.
Been a good while since I drew a robot that wasn't MechaDave. Had a lot of fun revisiting this bot. Its current design takes inspiration from Iron Tager from BlazBlue and the Mancubus from DOOM.
I like to think the old design is still canon and the new one is a "Mark II" design.
Catwoman design. 🐈⬛ For this and the Penguin design I did I wanted to go for more of a roaring 20’s Gotham. I imagine Catwoman as a burglar, but as Selena Kyle she’s more of a flapper socialite.
