you can use frames in the timeline to enable or disable visibility of multiple different layers/folders.

exporting becomes even easier too once you do this!

Today progress: hmmm 2nd layer of shading on clothes and tail, re-did lines on hair and used multiply over base color layer for hair.
(I have 5 more multiply layers I have to go through) OOF.

these are all the layers that make up mac, labeled with purpose and blending mode. i'm basically making up a "lighting" layer and applying it to her colors. then i use a blurred copy of her base colors to colorize her lines
