At this time, I bought a set of slightly less cheaper colored pens. I redrew a character of mine, Barrie, to test them out.
I like how they turned out, however, the set didn't come with a yellow pen, so I don't have a great way to color yellow characters.

Every once in a while I update my mental anatomy shorthands... Got to use this opportunity to test out @s0ularch 's fountain pen brush. Very fun, helluva learning curve, because I am spoiled by my own flat brush.

some of my pose practice:
1) look up random references on pinterest
2) take a random colour and block out the shapes of what you're seeing
3) take a normal pen and add lines!
