Some process!! I use a super basic 3d program to figure out the composition usually I'll set up a few different options. After I'll just do the character in procreate w local colors then I'll bring it into photoshop to toss together a color key and finish

We had a clear briefing (both main characters should be heading towards the tower, their backs to us), so started with some thumbnails

The client asked for it to be a composition adaptable for a horizontal AND vertical crop, so that was a challenge!
