These illuminated manuscripts influenced how I approached drawing “Doctor Caim.” They helped me decide on a simple four-panel per page format. They also helped me discover an overall color palette; I often took colors directly from these pages with Photoshop’s eyedropper tool.

I like the obvious Wario Land influence in Mario Party-e.

Some sprites are in the same style as the Land 4 map sprites, the Wario Balloon looks like Puffy Wario and the Wario in his Wario Car sprites (on top of the scenario of him driving around in a desert) are also very Land 4
