While I do think this was a cool bit of escalation in the comics, I think it was worth moving around for the pay off of Cecil using the Reanimen on Omni-Man in the show.
I'll be honest- I think Marvel really biffed it casting Harrison Ford as Thunderbolt Ross when there is a perfectly good Henry Rollins walking around. They probably could've hired him for a fraction of what they paid Ford too.
