2019 had some hard competition. RE2 remake, DMC5, Outer Worlds, but I went indie on my fave: Rebel Galaxy Outlaw. Out of all the games I played that year, this is the one that's still on my hard drive getting played today, so that's saying something-

2011 - to say I used to play a lot of Binding Of Isaac is a bit of a misnomer since I was playing the remake as recently as a few weeks ago. Weird history with that game but it's a hell of a roguelike

I still haven't finished this because I'm a fucking idiot but this is legit one of the best remakes I've ever seen for anything. It's only 2 routes but this made me see and enjoy Arcueid and Ciel Route in a way I didn't before

2020 - Final Fantasy VII Remake (PS4)
It's not a perfect game, but it's basically a new game and I'm not counting remasters of games on this list (otherwise it would've been XCDE here). If you don't view it as a remake (which is hard to do) it's a decently enjoyable game
