Also... I'm probably overthinking. It's no problem to just pull characters out of context sometimes and go "I just think they're neat" and make up some crack!fic. I'll put my toys back in the box when I've finished playing with them.😘 The canon remains unharmed. (4/4)
Though S4 arguably makes them "canon", it also makes the ship problematic because of the deception and it's improbable one would develop affection for a man that does that to you. Thus any post-s4 fic-writing requires careful thought. (2/4)
