I kept the separated eyes and more realistic shoes, but I gave him more cartoonish proportions

I thought it would be an interesting character design challenge to draw a #Sonic and prioritize a cute, game-like attitude, but with some of the specs from the film version:

- Fuzzy
- Eyes are Separate

Actually I'll tell you the reason. Changing Sonic's proportions introduced new design problems. His stomach is now bigger than his head, making his face obscured if they are the same color. Hence this weird unappealing solution to make them different colors.
