Like there are no lines in Savage Dragon Erik won't cross sometimes but I will say sometimes the book weirdly tones itself the fuck down at one point I would even call it a 10 and up book. Like I said all over the place.

Another illustration for the recently published biology schoolbook. A selection of artefacts of the Oldowan culture. A very early culture of simple pebble tools, it was practised by early species of Homo and late Australopithecus. Not fancy, but sharp and useful.

Brian knew he wanted Gemworld to be the way into a new story for these long-lost heroes, and that locale gave the book license to be its own thing and focus on these characters, as opposed to other DCU concerns outside the book. Readers wanted to catch up with *these* kids.

Some hat-wearing cacti I’m working on for my second activity book. Working on these books has been fun and fascinating. It’s caused me to adjust my drawing style a bit, as my goal is to guide. I don’t want kids to be impressed by what I can do, but impressed at what THEY can do.
