I went in with some flats and used the dodge/burn tool to get a rough colored concept of the piece before proceeding. I asked for critiques and was told to push the contrast further, so I did.

We're giving our puzzle battle game a glow-up! In our first round of testing, the biggest issue was that some blocks were hard to tell apart. Our artist took care of that! We've redesigned half the blocks as spheres, given them margins, and recoloured/contrasted!
