while they're more known for their depictions of machines and robots, what their paleoart lacks in accuracy it makes up for in absolutely GOD TIER composition. each piece feels like a shot from a documentary in the best way possible!
2/5 I started with 4 colors, later on I added more for fun and also to guide the eye through the artwork like a map. I actually didn't know that I was doing this "composition w/ colors" 'til a great teacher told me.

Final concept and base block out for Savathun's ship. Although you never see the ship and the castle in the same scene, I still wanted them to pair together, so that if you were to place the ship above the bowl it would make for a nice composition.
Layers:
1. Drawing with dry reddish pastel (composition)
2. Green Umber + Titanium White (values)
3. Transparent Oxyde Yellow (glazing)
