whipped this baby out in 2 hours. just practicing flow, painting right on the canvas instead of sketching, getting my ideas out fast and messy, not worrying about detail, composition, etc. just straight up puking up a painting.

I use composition, contrast and colors very intuitively. I rarely plan the composition ahead, I love to improvise and see where the artwork takes me. You should try to learn about these tools though!

I flatted it. Will color once I decide on a color pallet and lighting scheme.
I designed this composition mostly with line and shape focal points. I hadn't fully planned out the colors or values so this will be very experimental.
Is anyone good with gradient maps? PS vs. CSP?
