The gorl Danabird at the beginning of the decade towards the end of it c: she's made quite a transformation over the years. Can't believe the years of Flipnote Hatena are so far away now...

Makes me grateful I was a part of that community.

I share this again to remind that any tools are good to learn art, there are no best or bad tools, pro or amateur programs, as long as you feel comfortable with one you will learn many basics with it.

This is how l learned to animate: a Nintendo DSi with Flipnote Studio!

Art at the beginning of the decade (2011 was the earliest i could find), and at the end of the decade.

Many years, many characters :B i was on flipnote hatena more in 2010 so i don’t have a lot of art from then! Didn’t have a drawing tablet until ~2012?

Just a simple test animation before I get into more complicated things. Still trying to adapt to this while using the skills I learned back in the Flipnote Hatena days.

This is honestly my second time ever animating something, and I'm super proud of it.

Not counting the short gifs for Space Baton and bad Flipnotes I made as an 11-year-old.

helped me name this lil' guy! Hypehog is his name! ⚡️

Speaking of Flipnotes, here's a little Rayman animation from sometime in 2018, using Flipnote on the DSi this time
