Lake Hillier in Australia has bright pink water! The colour is caused by the microorganism Dunaliella salina, which causes salt content to create a red dye. Red halophilic bacteria also contribute to the colour. Microorganisms are the only living organisms in the lake.

Upon infecting more of their species after being infected themselves, they transform more. They're first infected and shown with one neon colour, a pair of antennas, and swirled eyes, but then get another tail, extra ears, and small wings. Easily noticed by their second colour.
