Lately I haven't been incredibly confident in my art because I haven't been doing much of it like, at all. I tried developing a new artstyle or something and arrived at this, and I'm quite happy with the result.

Been wanting an excuse to give the Battle art style a proper shake! Took about 6 hours, those angular lines were shockingly pretty difficult to get right, but damn I'm satisfied with the result.

Portrait now has both eyes, (no more pirate!)

Trying to do face with strongly side angled light & shadows from late sun, but not loving result. Deep shadows on right got overworked/muddy.

After entering the names of Pokémon into DALLE, I tried "Bowser". The result wasn't anything to do with the character of Bowser, so I tried "Bowser Koopa" and got the results in the first image. I then made some variations based of of the top-middle result.
