Btw guys, if you're trying to mimic the twewy style, they use a greyish purple color in 'multiply' layer to do the shading. The value here isn't exact, but close for the in-game sprites. They use a darker shade for stuff like official art usually, but still the same method.

10. Is it cheating to say my most recent drawing is my favorite? I think I'm just proud of how it came out given that my skills as an artist are still relatively undeveloped. Also it was really really fun to color, even if I could've gone a bit harder on some of the shading.

@gjkcentral I’ve always thought the best way to keep suits as accurate as possible as well as visually interesting is using textures and seams to substitute the lack of controllable shading. For example: Ben and Kaine’s suits in Spider-Man PS4. They’re nearly 1:1 and look great in daylight.
@ClaraCerro Ages ago, I decided to do a more painterly pic of my main character Mira from my webtoon, instead of the usual cel shading. Halfway through painting though, I realize she looks like Hillary Duff. Totally unintentional, and I've just left it unfinished in a folder.

I wanted to draw more of a pinupish picture of Fenix. Accidentally made her look a little older and she would not wear this in a match. But it was a fun practice piece that included designing outfits, anatomy, and color/shading. Now time to finish the other projects!
